"Colina Club" is a retirement village for the over 55's. Here you will find c: 50 one and two bedroom apartments. Many of the apartments have permanent residents but a number are available for both short and long term rental. Guests benefit from the use of extensive medical facilities and from a range of social activities!!


Property description
The Colina Club is a retirement village for the over 55's situated in tranquil countryside just 5 minutes drive from the centre of Calpe on the Costa Blanca. It was opened in 1988 to serve the English speaking community, providing a comfortable and healthy retirement home in a superb location - Calpe, on the Costa Blanca, Spain.
There is a choice of one or two bedroomed apartments for long term rental, while we have two x one bedroom apartments available for short term rental. All of the apartments are on one level and have been designed to make life easy!! They come complete with an alarm system, under floor central heating, satellite T.V. (including BBC1 and ITV), and midlevel electrical points. The fully tiled bathroom is equipped with assistance rails. All apartments feature living/dining rooms leading on to sun patios with outstanding views. All apartments have an ample sitting room with a door leading onto the balcony, in the case of an first floor apartment or on to the patio in the case of a ground floor apartment. The kitchens come equipped with an electric hob and oven grill. There are cupboards both over and under the worktops. Again you are free to amplify the kitchen equipment or fittings, although you are asked to inform the club management of any changes to the electrodomestic equipment. All bedrooms are double size and have a built in wardrobe.
There is an English speaking doctor available on 24 hour call who holds a weekly surgery and will attend you in your own apartment. All E.U. citizens are eligible to a Spanish Medical card which entitles retired persons to free medications and drugs. The administration staff is available to help obtain these cards and residential papers etc.
The bowls club, of which you are automatically a member, meets throughout the
year. The swimming pool is permanently maintained and can be used at any time by residents and visitors alike. There is an extensive free library with comfortable armchairs and sofas for you to sit and read, should you not wish to take your chosen book to your room or apartment and a lunchtime menu from the cafeteria when ordered. On club nights, you can enjoy the company of your friends, a drink, a game of fun darts or a quiz. There is a regular daily (Monday to Friday) minibus service into Calpe, enabling you to do your shopping, visit the town or the beach and enjoy a quiet coffee in one of the many cafeterias there.
