"Casa del Sol" is a delightful old whitewashed town house in the old quarter of the picturesque Costa Blanca town of Altea. The property is excellently located for shops, restaurants & beach. It has 3 bedrooms and comfortably accommodates 6 adults.

Property description

A delightful Altea holiday home in the old quarter of this picturesque Costa Blanca town. Casa del Sol is a wonderful old whitewashed town house in the heart of the ancient town of Altea, on Spain's Costa Blanca coastline. Situated in an elevated position in the officially protected Old Town, the house has sea views and has recently been comprehensively refurbished to a very high standard by the owners.

Just a few minutes walk from the Plaza and the magnificent blue-domed church of the old town it is the ideal base to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of Mediterranean Spain. Altea and it's surrounding areas provide a cultural and sporting paradise and we are sure you will find your stay in our Casa de Sol a pleasurable experience.

On the ground floor there is a sitting room, separate dining room seating 8 with a log burner and kitchen with cloakroom/toilet. The kitchen has been completely refitted to include stone worktops, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and gas cooker.

The first floor is accessed by a stone staircase and consists of a second sitting room with small balcony and wonderful sea views, together with the master bedroom with double bed and en suite shower and toilet. To the rear the bedroom opens on to an enclosed terrace suitable for barbeques or evening drinks


Another a stone staircase leads from the sitting room to the second floor which has two further bedrooms with twin beds, exposed timber roof structure and ensuite shower and toilet. Please note that the ensuite shower / toilet and third bedroom are accessed through the second bedroom.


The house has been furnished to a high standard with tiled floors throughout and is frequently used by the owners themselves. Because of the narrow stone staircases we would not recommend the house for very young children or for the less mobile. For those who need to have access to a broadband link the house is equipped with a 256k ADSL service, which can be made avaialble for a small additional charge.
