Villa Dorotea is a spacious 4 bedroom home. The villa nestles in an elevated position above the fashionable and sophisticated village of Moraira. The house is set in a large landscaped garden with it's own private swimming pool and has sea views to the Cabo De Nao. The large, beamed high ceiling Naya is a favourite place to relax in the shade and enjoy the views and gentle breezes from the sea.
Double doors lead into the main Living Room of the house. This is furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs and has a traditional oval fireplace as a feature. A stereo system is provided with Radio, CD and Cassette functions. Internet Wifi is now a feature (laptop required).
Arches lead from the living room into the dining room and then the media room/study with further sofas and chairs, Satellite TV and DVD player.
The well appointed and fully equipped kitchen has a fridge freezer, gas hob and oven double oven with fan, along with toaster, coffee maker, food processor and kettle. The next door laundry room boasts a drinks fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.
Three spacious bedrooms and bathrooms (two en suite) each afford views over two different aspects of the garden: one looks over the pool and the garden; one with French windows to it’s own spacious balcony looks out to sea and over the garden and another bedroom has French windows onto its own terrace with garden views. All bedrooms and bathrooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard with ample wardrobe space. Each bedroom has its own independent air con system. Stairs lead down to the fourth bedroom with en suite bathroom which nestles in a lovely sunny garden area.
Outside, the 10m x 5m swimming pool has roman steps leading into it and ample terracing around for sunbathing or relaxing under an umbrella. The landscaped gardens are well maintained affording Mediterranean colour, shade and fresh lemons! There is a large covered pergola with additional dining/sitting space with views across the gardens and pool to the Cabo de Nao. Below is a barbeque area to complete the ‘al fresco’ dining experience!
Outdoors is a perfect way to unwind, sunbathe, read, and dine with a number of spots in or out of the shade.
At the rear of the house a spiral staircase leads to the roof terrace with even more expansive panoramic views and the chance of little private sunbathing!
There is secure private parking for 2 cars.
For larger and extended families we have a 3 bedroom villa in the same avenue so combined will accomodate upto 14 people if interested.
The small, picturesque village of Moraira has grown over the years into a most desirable destination for the discerning. The impressive marina has become as much a feature of its sea front as has the ancient fort which guarded its coast. There is a choice of sandy beaches providing safe swimming for families and pedelos are available for rent, or snorkelling or scuba diving from rocks along the impressive coastline. The weekly Friday market has a huge following and there is a choice of other markets at other nearby villages and towns in the area. There are restaurants and bars to suit every moment including the best views or the sun setting across the bay to the Penon! The Jalon and Orba Valleys are just a half-hour drive inland and the bright lights of Benidorm with the theme parks of Aqualandia (Water Park), Mundomar (Sea World) and Terra Mitica (Theme Park) are just 45 minutes drive.
