Villa Gadea is situated adjacent to the beach, about 3k from Altea and 7k from Calpe. The original “Villa Gadea” was a manor house that has recently been fully refurbished and converted into a cultural museum. The former grounds now house a 5* Hotel and the 260 apartments and bungalows that is now known as “Villa Gadea”. The apartments and bungalows are set in a semi tropical environment. Swimming pools have been liberally sprinkled in the grounds and Palm trees, Bougainvillea, Hibiscus and Jasmine abound. The background noise is one made up largely of the sound of crickets, interspersed occasionally with a water sprinkler!

Life on Villa Gadea is a relaxed affair with reading, swimming and sun bathing the chief pastimes. The apartments themselves are excellent quality. This is typified by the marble floors, under floor heating (purely for those occasional cool winter evenings!), air conditioning, private hot Jacuzzis and Siematic kitchens.
