Property description

"Casa Rafalet" is a large (200 sq mt) villa, situated within the Rafalet district of Javea. This is a peaceful location and yet only a few minutes drive from either the main town of Javea or the golden sands of the "Arenal" beach.


The "Casa" is built in typical Spanish style on top of a small hill with 180 degree view of the valley below and of the old town. Casa Rafalet is a sou-terrain house with large window arches and wooden beams in the ceiling. It has 5 bedrooms (1 with en-suite bathroom), 2 shower rooms with toilets, a billiard room, and swimming pool. The villa has been furnished to a high standard by its current owners and is equipped with modern conveniences throughout eg/ central heating, oven & gas stove, microwave, dish washer, washing machine & tumble drier, 2 TVs with satellite arials, VCR & DVD players, CD music system, lap-top computer with dial-up connection and a telephone.

Visitors to Casa Rafalet need to be aware that the villa does have one permanent resident – Tipsy, who is the owners cat. Tipsy has become very attached to the villa and she will almost certainly insist on being stroked and fed by all visitors!! She is quite old now but is very soft and friendly. The owners will of course provide the food………


Javea is an old Spanish fishing town on the Costa Blanca with about 25,000 inhabitants, excellent beaches and beautiful natural surroundings. An increasing tourism since the 1990s has also caused the construction of modern suburbs, 2 golf courses, an assortment of international restaurants and a selection of supermarkets. The house is in one of the more exclusive suburbs, on a hill overlooking the town and the valleys beyond with orange, almond and olive orchards. About 10 minutes by car on the other side of the hill is Javea Golf Club with an adjacent supermarket. We can also reach the old town and main beaches in about 10 minutes.
