"Mar Menor Casa" is a splendid one bedroom, first floor apartment located in a quiet area and yet just a minutes walk from the two seas - the Mar Menor lagoon on one side & the Mediteranean the other!! There is also a communial pool with splash pool, a private balcony, English TV and sea views.
Property description
The Apartment has a spacious main living room with comfortable sofa's, TV (inc/ English channels), DVD, CD player and radio. There is a well equipped kitchen area a double bedroom and air cooling fans for the summer months. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine "al fresco". There is also a communal pool with a shallow end perfect for children.
Linen is provided but guests will need to take your own Towels.
The Apartment is located just one minutes’ walk from the beaches, of the Mar Menor & the Mediterranian, two completly different seas to swim in!! The outskirts of La Manga often referred to as one of Spain’s best kept secrets. Quiet and peaceful, yet only thirty minutes from the larger resorts such as Cartagena, the apartment has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out, and a plethora of Watersports.
The apartment is located at the far end of the the Mar Menor beside the golden Costa Calida, on a 18km strip of land, that separates 2 seas, some times is width is no wider than 200mtrs. Cartagena is the nearby major town, which has places of interest, and lots of history.
The Mar Menor,is the largest salt-water lagoon in Europe and has a surface area of nearly 170km², (60 square miles) it is non-tidal, crystal clear, and with average water temperature of 23 degrees. It has a coastal length of 70km, and warm and clear water which does not exceed 7m in depth, it is "the largest swimming pool in the world"
Throughout the length of La Manga there are ten teaching centers (Escuelas de Vela) which means that no one need travel far to practice the water sport of their choosing. All of the centers offer the best and most up-to-date equipment with courses in sailing and wind-surfing tutored by qualified instructors who normally speak at least one language other then Spanish - normally English and/or German.

A £100 breakages deposit is required which will be refunded within two weeks of your departure subject to satisfactory property inspection.
