Casa Vista Mar Moraira is is a delightful 3 bedroom villa, located just 1k from the centre of Moraira and sleeping up to 6 adults in comfort. There are two terraces giving wonderful resort, sea and mountain views plus use of a fabulous communal pool that is restricted to a handful of private villas.

Property description

Casa Vista Mar Moraira is in one of Spains most beautiful regions with all the charms you should expect from a Spanish coastal resort. The villa is close to the resort centre yet in an exclusive, peaceful, residential area. The property sleeps six comfortably having one double and two twin bedrooms (one ensuite) shower room, large open plan lounge/dining room (giving access to the upper terrace) fully fitten kitchen, utility room and store room. There are two terraces the upper being sheltered and giving wonderful views over the resort, sea and mountains. You would have the use of a fabulous pool restricted to a handful of private villas and nine times out of ten you will find you have the pool to yourself. There is also a car port with parking for one car but extra road parking is available. The resort centre is 1km from the villa with its beautiful marina, beach, shops and fabulous bars and restaurants. With its authentic Spanish feel and fabulous year round weather, if you're looking to sample an unspoilt Spanish holiday resort Moraira is for you.

The World Health Organisation has identified the Northern Costa Blanca as having a near to perfect climate as possible making Moraira an ideal holiday destination. The resort is located in a picturesque bay with the backdrop of the Marina Alta mountains. Originally a fishing village Moraira remains idylically Spanish and undisturbed by the large crowds that flock to the main resorts. Spacious villas, many owned by the rich and famous are scatttered among the pinewoods which run down to the seam. Whilst Moraira remains one of the most unspoiled resorts in Spain with no high rise, package tours or noisy nightclubs it has a great variety of fashionable shops, excellent restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. Down by the marina there are wonderful places to stop and chat over morning coffee or sample a glass of Rioja whilst choosing a restaurant for lunch. There are four beach of very different character in the immediate area with El Portet being the northern most of these, popular with families with its sheltered bay and gently sloping seabed, ideal and safe for swimming. Other beautiful beaches and coves are scattered along the coast ready for you to explore and watersports include snorkelling, scuba-diving, jetskiing and windsurfing. Other local activites include golf, tennis, fishing, horse riding and go-carting. The region is famous for its colourful fiestas and festivals which take place throughout the year, the most famous being the Moors and Christians held around mid June. The villa is midway between Valencia and Alicante and within easy reach of a variety of other resorts. To the north is Javea and Denia and to the south Calpe, Altea and Benidorm. Inland are the beautiful Jalon and Orba valleys, the stunning mountain top village of Guadalest and Font Algar - a series of pools and waterfalls where you can swim, take a nice walk or just relax with a picnic. The coastal road to Calpe is particularly beautiful and is about a 30 minute run passing small coves and a large number of restaurants, many actually down in the coves. There are many places of interest to children in the area including a large aqua park, zoo and safari park and sea life centre.

With the capacity to sleep six confortably the villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 terraces, fully fitted kitchen, large open plan lounge/dining room with stunning views, utility room and storeage room. During 2007 Casa Vista Mar underwent a complete refurbishment with new kitchen, bathroom and lounge. All the work was carried out to the highest standards with granite surfaces, high quality fittings, a full range of built in appliances, power showers and all the modern conveniences you would expect to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and trouble free. There are two twin bedrooms (one en suite) and one double. The lounge/dining room has a two and three seater settee, dining table and chairs, TV offering UK satellite TV including BBC1, Sky 1, a movie channel, Sky sports and news if you want to just sit and chill out. There is also a DVD and Stereo and a large selection of films and music. There are a number of books and games also. In cooler months there is central heating, the en-suite bedroom has air conditioning and all rooms have ceiling fans. There is also an electric towel rail in the main bathroom. In the utility room is a second fridge, ideal as a drinks fridge, washing machine and extra sink. The villa is in an elevated position so attracts sea breezes. The villa is suitable for children/babies with a cot and high chair available. Finally, for the more active, in the utility room you will find rackets, balls, games, toys, body boards and inflatables to keep you occupied.


Outside, there is a large and very quiet communal pool restricted to only a handful of private villas. The villa has a small garden in which there is a lemon tree for lovers of a G and T. There are two terraces, the upper terrace being quite sheltered and giving wonderful views of the resort, sea and mountains, ideal to relax in the evening over a glass or wine. The lower terrace is much larger - great for stretching out in the sun. There is a BBQ and ample outdoor furniture for dining and sunbathing together with large parasol. The loungers may be taken to the pool but must be brought back each evening.
